Janice Weis
Founder - President
Janice Weis is the Associate Dean and Director of the Environmental Law Program at Lewis & Clark Law School in Portland, a position she has held since 1994. She spent her childhood riding and owning horses and has been a member of Lake Oswego Hunt for many years. Janice served as show manager/organizer for amateur hunter-jumper shows in Lake Oswego for over a decade, including oversight for the Nancy Wild Medal Series and Finals which benefit cancer research. She is a member of the Oregon and US HJA.
Marie Dodds
Founder - Vice President
Marie is the Director of Government and Public Affairs for AAA Oregon/Idaho. Prior to joining AAA, she was an award-winning journalist and longtime co-host of top-rated Portland radio morning shows. Marie has ridden and shown most of her life. She’s won many championships in Hunters, Jumpers and Equitation on the “A” circuit. She enjoys sharing her love of horses with young people and was the long-time advisor and coach of the Lake Oswego High School Equestrian Team.
